Matt Sunberg started Lotus Electric with a simple idea: Duluth families deserve an electrician who treats their home like his own. After years of working across northern Minnesota — from historic lakefront estates to brand-new construction — he built a company rooted in clear communication, transparent pricing, and work that passes inspection the first time.

Growing up in the Duluth area gave Matt an understanding of this region's unique electrical challenges. The freeze-thaw cycles that stress wiring connections. The older panels in hillside homes that weren't built for modern loads. The winter storms that make a reliable generator the difference between comfort and crisis.

Over 17 years, that understanding has grown into 500+ completed projects and a team of licensed electricians who share Matt's standards. When the state inspector tells a customer "they did a nice job" — that's not a compliment we take lightly. It's proof that our process works.
